Filter
Ion exchange softening removes calcium and magnesium ions that cause hard water scaling, protecting downstream filter stages and improving mineral balance.
Filtration
Polypropylene sediment filter captures particles down to 5 microns — rust fragments, fine sediment, suspended solids. What passes through here is effectively invisible.
Membrane
A 0.01-micron hollow-fibre UF membrane removes bacteria, cysts, and colloids while retaining beneficial minerals — the core of the purification architecture.
Carbon
GAC adsorption eliminates chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, and taste/odour compounds. The water emerging here is clean, neutral, and mineral-balanced.
Enhancement
Mineral-infused ceramic balls re-introduce beneficial trace minerals — calcium, magnesium, potassium — optimising pH and giving the water a clean, neutral taste profile.
Sterilisation
The final barrier. Dual UV-C LED lamps bombard the water with 254nm radiation, destroying any remaining viral or bacterial DNA. This stage runs every dispense cycle. Nothing lives through it.
